Honey bees are important for pollenation, but when they build a hive on your property, they can pose a significant safety hazard for children and

Honey bees living inside walls and ceilings can cause extensive damage. Killing the bees without removing the hive adds to the problem when the honey (normally cooled by their wings) begins to melt. Additionally, other bees looking for a new home may claim "squatter's rights" to the old hive, and the problem will return - in spades.
